About the Sunday Dhamma School
The Sunday School is conducted every Sunday from 3 to 5pm.
A new session usually starts in September each year and terminates in June the following year.
It is closed during the regular school vacations. Medium of instructions is English except for the
Sinhala class.

Service to the Buddhist Community One of the important services that Toronto Mahavihara renders to the Sri Lankan Buddhist Community in Central and Eastern Toronto is the Sunday School for children. Buddhism and Buddhist way of life are covered at various levels for very young children as well as for teenagers. It is the well conceived desire of every Buddhist parent to bring up their children in a Buddhist environment and its inherent discipline. The School offers the best opportunity to fulfill those desires and to keep the children in touch with Buddhist teachings, customs and culture.
