People like you who understand that great results come from taking consistent and small steps and joining others to leverage the effect of their actions. We in the Toronto Mahavihara Scholarship Foundation are all volunteers devoting their time and effort with the hope that our action will change the lives of at least some of the needy children in Sri Lanka for a better future.

We urge you to be part of this noble cause by contributing to the scholarship grant programme regularly. Our Scholarship Administration Committee is selected annually by a general meeting of the Toronto Mahavihara Society. The programme is administered under a clearly established set of guidelines which dictate the selection criteria.

The grants are awarded strictly on merits with no preference whatsoever to race, religion, gender and/or color. You will find our financial reports on the web site and they are updated quarterly.

Donations:

Approximate monthly grant is 2000.00 SLR (Sri Lankan Rupees) which is approximately eqivalent to 20.00 US/CAN per child.
